Dubbo, NSW

Dubbo Firming Power Station

Dubbo Firming Power Station is a proposed firming power station, capable of using hydrogen, biofuels and hydrogen gas blends. The project consists of a dual fuel 64MW power plant and up to 20MW hydrogen electrolysis plant.

Gol Gol, NSW

Gol Gol Battery

The proposed Gol Gol Battery is located 10km north of Buronga, within the South West Renewable Energy Zone. The project will consist of a grid-scale energy storage system. This project will be developed in parallel with Gol Gol Wind Farm and Gol Gol Solar Farm.

Euston, NSW

Koorakee Energy Park

The proposed Koorakee Energy Park is located around 12km north of Euston, NSW within the South West Renewable Energy Zone. It consists of a wind farm with up to 167 wind turbines, a solar farm and battery energy storage. The project has the potential to have a total generating capacity of up to 2GW, the equivalent of powering more than 1.1 million average NSW homes.

Port Kemblal, NSW

Port Kembla Energy Terminal

Port Kembla Energy Terminal is located on Dharawal land, in Port Kembla’s Inner Harbour. The terminal will have the capacity to supply 500TJ a day - enough to meet nearly all of NSW’s gas needs on a peak day. The new terminal will support domestic gas supply as we transition to renewable energy.

Spicers Creek, NSW

Spicers Creek Battery

Spicers Creek Battery is a proposed battery storage facility within the Spicers Creek Wind Farm development, west of Gulgong and north east of Wellington, in the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone. The size of the battery facility proposed is up to 400 MW capacity and up to 1,800 MWh storage capacity.

Wuuluman, NSW

Uungula Battery

Uungula Battery is a proposed battery storage facility near the Uungula Wind Farm development, 14km east of Wellington within the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone. The size of the battery facility permitted is up to 150MW/300MWh.
