Dragons ready to breathe fire with fans in Mudgee

St George Illawarra Dragons players will make a special appearance in Mudgee at Lawson Park, ahead of their annual Charity Shield match against South Sydney Rabbitohs on Saturday 22 February.

Hosted by leading renewable energy company and Dragons major partner, Squadron Energy, the community event will feature a ball toss competition, the chance to win prizes and a special Mudgee edition 2025 Dragons team poster, ready for signing.

Dragons players will be dropping in during the event for autographs and selfies.

Dragons co-captain Damien Cook said he was excited about joining fans ahead of the Charity Shield.

“We all love getting out to see and play for regional fans at this time of year, and Mudgee is a favourite spot,” he said.

“It’s also great to be bringing the Charity Shield back to Mudgee and I hear our team mascot Scorch may even be making it to the community event.”
