Uungula Wind Farm is now five months into construction, with the Twelve Mile Road upgrade well underway.

Work on Twelve Mile Road currently includes:
- removing the old bitumen surface
- laying a stabilising road base material to prepare for the new bitumen surface
- widening and upgrading existing culverts underneath the road
- excavating and removing old culverts
- installing new rock walls
To protect flora and fauna during this work, we have installed environmental controls. All work is required to comply with the project’s planning approval conditions as well as strict state government requirements.
The Twelve Mile Road upgrade will improve conditions for road users and allow the delivery of equipment and components needed for project construction.
Completion of the upgrade is currently expected for early 2025, weather and site conditions permitting.
