On Monday 28 July 2025, work will start on the upgrade of the new Goolma Road and Twelve Mile Road intersection, weather and site conditions permitting.
Work will include:
- site establishment
- traffic management
- erosion and sediment control
- stormwater drainage
- subsoil drainage
- pavement reconstruction
- sealing and asphalt
- line marking
- signage
- decommissioning and rehabilitation of existing entry and exit points onto Twelve Mile Road.
A contraflow traffic control system will be in place, and road users at the intersection can expect minor traffic delays in-line with the approved Traffic Management Plans. As the work progresses, we will provide updates via email and Variable Message Signs (VMS), to ensure all road users are aware of traffic changes and any expected delays.
Work at the intersection site will take place during approved construction hours, between 7:00am to 6:00pm on weekdays, and 8:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays.
