Community invited to have their say on proposed Banandra Wind Farm

The local community is invited to have their say on the proposal to develop Banandra Wind Farm, around 10km south-east of Darlington Point, NSW.

Squadron Energy, a 100% Australian owned renewables company, is prioritising community engagement in the development of the project. The wind farm is proposed to comprise up to 93 wind turbines and generate of up to 558MW of electricity – enough to power up to 302,000 homes each year.

The project is in the early stages of development and community members are encouraged to attend drop-in information sessions to learn more and share their thoughts about Banandra Wind Farm. These sessions will be held at:

Murrumbidgee Shire Hall – Darlington Point
