The St George Illawarra Dragons in partnership with Squadron Energy held another successful Community Blitz through the Southern Tablelands region this week.
NRLW stars Ella Koster and Montaya Hudson were on hand for the trip alongside the Dragons Community Team, with NRLW Canberra Raiders player Hollie-Mae Dodd also joining.
The crew made stops at Berinba Public School on Wednesday afternoon while also holding an afternoon club visit at the Yass Magpies before heading to Mt Carmel School and Yass High School on Thursday.

At the schools, the team delivered the club’s Best You Can Be program to students with focus topics including the importance of being active, tolerance, respect and inclusiveness, sleep, screen time management, hydration and nutrition.
A Win the Morning Event was also held on Thursday morning at Trader & Co in Yass where all attendees went on a half-hour walk before getting together for breakfast.
Squadron Energy CEO Rob Wheals said the success of the latest Blitz, delivered through the partnership with the Dragons, highlights the positive outcomes the collaboration is delivering for regional communities.
“Our partnership with the St George Illawarra Dragons has always been about connecting with the communities where we live and work, and making a genuine contribution at a local level,” Mr Wheals said.
“The community visit to the Riverina and Southern Tablelands is a great example of partnership in action – bringing people together, supporting local schools and clubs, and creating moments that really matter in regional communities. That community connection is what makes the partnership so valuable.
Dragons NRLW player Montaya Hudson said the club had a “special time visiting the students and juniors in and around Yass”.
“They were all so respectful and excited to get involved,” Ms Hudson said.
“It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to be a part of these trips and we can’t thank Squadron enough for their help in making it possible.”
