Dubbo Firming Power Station

Dubbo Firming Power Station is a proposed firming power station, capable of using hydrogen, biofuels and hydrogen gas blends. The project consists of a dual fuel 64MW power plant and up to 20MW hydrogen electrolysis plant.

Wentworth, NSW

Gol Gol Battery

The proposed Gol Gol Battery is located 10km north of Buronga, within the South West Renewable Energy Zone. The project will consist of a grid-scale energy storage system. This project will be developed in parallel with Gol Gol Wind Farm and Gol Gol Solar Farm.

Unanderra, NSW

Illawarra Firming Power Station

The proposed Illawarra Firming Power Station is a new gas-powered facility, located in Unanderra NSW, a heavy industrial zone seven kilometres south of Wollongong CBD. The facility is designed to provide electricity when renewable energy sources like wind and solar are not meeting demand.

Port Kemblal, NSW

Port Kembla Energy Terminal

Port Kembla Energy Terminal is located on Dharawal land, in Port Kembla’s Inner Harbour. The terminal will have the capacity to supply 500TJ a day - enough to meet nearly all of NSW’s gas needs on a peak day. The new terminal will support domestic gas supply as we transition to renewable energy.
