Squadron Energy helps Wellington young people get active through local basketball program

Squadron Energy’s Uungula Wind Farm is supporting a community basketball program for young people wanting to stay active and build new social connections in Wellington.
The Wellington PCYC Club is behind the program, running regular training sessions and drop-in basketball games.

Since our last newsletter in March, the project has reached an important milestone with the completion and submission of the Environment Report and Planning Permit Applications.
Road cleared for blade delivery as Goolma Road and Mitchell Highway intersection upgrade completed

The Goolma Road and Mitchell Highway intersection in Wellington, NSW, has officially been upgraded, with the turn into Goolma Road widening.
This will enable trucks carrying Uungula Wind Farm’s 80-metre turbine blades to access the project site.
Blade delivery for Uungula Wind Farm is expected in the coming weeks, pending logistical checks and approvals.
OSOM delivery schedule 19 July – 9 August 2026

Oversize overmass (OSOM) deliveries to Uungula Wind Farm are now underway. Refer to the schedule for delivery times and locations. The schedule may change due to weather or operational conditions.
