Oversize overmass (OSOM) blade deliveries from the Port of Newcastle to Uungula Wind Farm start 1am Monday 10 August.
Each 80 metre blade will be transported along a 400-kilometre route from the Port of Newcastle via Industrial Drive, Pacific Highway, New England Highway, John Renshaw Drive, Hunter Expressway, New England Highway, Golden Highway to Saxa Road (east of Elong Elong), then via Saxa Road, Mitchell Highway, Goolma Road and Twelve Mile Road over two days.
Non-blade OSOM deliveries also continue during this time.
Departure times for blades are 1am, while other components vary from 1am to 10.30am, with the schedule varying depending on weather and operational conditions.

Note, traffic may be held, or there may be delays at the following key locations:
- The intersection of John Renshaw Dr and Hunter Expressway
- Golden Hwy at Mount Thorley, Denman, Merriwa and Saxa Road
- Mitchell Hwy onto Goolma Rd
- Goolma Rd and Twelve Mile Rd
All OSOM movements take place under carefully managed transport arrangements, including police escorts, pilot vehicles, detailed journey planning and road upgrades, to minimise the impact on communities along the route.
