Students from Horsham College have taken centre stage in a spectacular production of Disney’s Frozen: The Musical, made possible by Squadron Energy’s Murra Warra Wind Farm.
The musical was held at the Horsham Town Hall Theatre over four performances on 20, 21 and 22 August.
It showcased the talent, creativity and dedication of students from across the college, with audiences commending the high quality of the production.
Murra Warra Wind Farm was proud to support the initiative, which gave local students the opportunity to develop skills while bringing a much-loved story to life for the wider community.
“Having attended the performance, it was incredible to see the enthusiasm, talent and hard work that students brought to the stage,” Murra Warra Wind Farm Junior Site Operations Manager Mark Thorsby said.
“The quality of the production was exceptional and reflected the dedication of everyone involved, from the students and teachers through to the volunteers and families behind the scenes.
“Murra Warra Wind Farm is proud to support opportunities like this that help young people build confidence, develop new skills and be part of something special.”
Horsham College Performing Arts Teacher and Project Director Emily Friedrichsen thanked Squadron Energy and other sponsors for their support.
“Your generous support is more than a donation. It’s provided an experience for our students, an opportunity to be part of something truly special,” Ms Friedrichsen said.
“It’s given our kids a chance to discover their confidence, build resilience, find a sense of belonging and create friendships and memories that may last a lifetime.
“Without your generosity and belief in what we do, many of these opportunities simply wouldn’t be possible.”
Ms Friedrichsen said audiences praised the quality of the sets, costumes and the overall production, with almost every show attracting a full theatre.
