The central idea behind the AEMO’s 2026 Integrated System Plan (ISP) is clear – renewable energy, firmed with storage, connected by transmission and backed up by gas is the least-cost pathway to deliver reliable and affordable electricity.
This is a central message fully endorsed by Squadron Energy. Squadron is committed to progressing its pipeline of wind, storage and firming projects to support this pathway.

Key initiatives include funding Disaster Relief Australia’s Big Map for emergency planning, delivering a First Nations training program in Wellington, leading research on bat collision risks at wind farms, and partnering with Dubbo Regional Council on an advanced wastewater treatment facility.
