Dunedoo Central School hosted its annual ‘Art for Youth’ day, supported by Squadron Energy’s Spicers Creek Wind Farm. Students explored creativity through painting, crafting, and sculpting in a series of workshops designed to encourage artistic expression.

The St George Illawarra Dragons has run another success Community Blitz in NSW’s Central West. Partnering with Squadron Energy, the club hosted workshops at schools across the region, speaking to students about resilience, health, and wellbeing.

The St George Illawarra Dragons are teaming up with Squadron Energy for another Best You Can Be Community Blitz. The club will be visiting schools across NSW’s Central West. The program delivers workshops on health, wellbeing, and positive lifestyle choices, alongside touch footy clinics and community events.

Community programs and initiatives backed by Squadron Energy have been featured in the Best Practice Charter Report, highlighting the company’s commitment to community engagement and sustainability. Key initiatives include funding Disaster Relief Australia’s Big Map for emergency planning, delivering a First Nations training program in Wellington, leading research on bat collision risks at wind farms, and partnering with Dubbo Regional Council on an advanced wastewater treatment facility.

Squadron Energy has received approval for its Development Application (DA) to build temporary workers’ accommodation in Dubbo, marking a major milestone for the project that will provide workers on renewable energy projects close to Dubbo with a place to stay.

A vital accommodation service for cancer patients in Western NSW has officially expanded. With Macquarie Home Stay unveiling a $7 million extension, backed by generous support from rural communities, donors, sponsors, and local leaders.

The project milestones have continued for Spicers Creek Wind Farm this year.
