August marked an exciting milestone for Uungula Wind Farm, with the first wind turbine successfully installed on site. It’s a significant moment for the project and the result of a huge amount of planning, construction and teamwork across the project team and our contractors.

Applications for the next round of community fund scholarships will open on Monday 7 September 2026 and close on 31 October 2026. The grants support local students to pursue their academic and career goals and deliver positive outcomes for the Clarke Creek region.

Recent work has focused on analysing wind data collected from ground monitoring units and meteorological masts. These masts have now been collecting wind data for over 12 months, to support detailed wind modelling.
Clarke Creek Wind Farm project update – May 2026
Clarke Creek Wind Farm – Stage One has been ranked in the top 10 wind generation assets by capacity factor in Australia since February, with Rystad Energy also naming Squadron Energy as February’s leading wind generator.
