Community theatre shines with support from Uungula Wind Farm
More than 600 residents from Wellington have gathered for the Wellington Amateur Theatrical Society’s production of Mirror, Mirror in Nottingham, with Squadron Energy’s Uungula Wind Farm supporting all four performances as a major sponsor.
The jukebox musical premiered on 12 September, with the final matinee held on 19 September at the Wellington Soldiers Memorial Club.
Two First Nations teams prepare for the Koori Knockout, Australia’s largest Indigenous rugby league gathering
Squadron Energy’s Uungula Wind Farm is sponsoring two First Nations teams for the upcoming Koori Knockout, the largest Indigenous rugby league carnival in the country.
Nanima Common Connection and the Googars Rugby League Club are both preparing for the carnival, with Squadron Energy’s help reducing the costs involved in competing.
Both clubs say the Koori Knockout is about more than rugby league. It is about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people come together to celebrate culture, family, identity and connection.

From a simple goal of giving back to the Wellington community, Yindyamarra Landcare and Maintenance has grown into a thriving local business.
Yindyamarra Landcare and Maintenance provides land care, grounds maintenance and property services while creating employment opportunities for Aboriginal people.
Squadron Energy partnered with the business to deliver land care and grounds maintenance at Bellhaven, a temporary accommodation facility established to house workers during the construction of Uungula Wind Farm.

Squadron Energy’s has erected the first turbine blade at Uungula Wind Farm, marking a major milestone for the only wind farm currently under construction in New South Wales.
The turbine was completed at 2pm on Sunday, August 30, following the installation of its three blades.
