The St George Illawarra Dragons and Squadron Energy brought their successful Best You Can Be Regional Blitz to the Orana last week, connecting with students and local communities through school visits, wellbeing program, and a community walk. NRL players Jaydn Su’A and Hayden Buchanan, alongside Dragons legends Ricky Walford and Nathan Blacklock, visited schools across Gilgandra, Gulargambone and Walgett to promote health, wellbeing and positive life choices.
Squadron Energy partnership helping Dress for Success Illawarra empower women
Dress for Success Illawarra has continued to empower women through the organisation’s partnership with Squadron Energy’s Port Kembla Energy Terminal.
The non-profit helps women enter, re-enter and thrive in the workforce.
The organisation has made significant strides recently, supporting 551 Illawarra women in the last financial year, exceeding their annual target by 10 per cent.

Clarke Creek Wind Farm surpasses $1 million in community investment
Clarke Creek Wind Farm has reached a major milestone, surpassing $1 million in community investment.
Since 2022, $1.29 million has been invested in the community; more than 70 organisations and initiatives have received support, while 30 local students have been granted scholarships worth nearly $200,000.
This milestone was driven by a broad range of sponsorships, grants and scholarships, with investment continuing across the region.
Squadron Energy steps aside to let Indigenous artwork take centre stage
Squadron Energy has been praised by the St George Illawarra Dragons for deciding to remove its logo from the club’s 2026 Indigenous jersey.
The decision to step off the jersey gives space for the artwork and the cultural story it represents.
The Dragons will wear the jersey for Indigenous Round this Sunday when they take on the Sharks.
Ballyrogan Wind Farm helps revitalise Warrak Recreation Reserve with sustainability-focused upgrades
Squadron Energy’s Ballyrogan Wind Farm has supported the installation of a range of improved amenities for the Warrak Recreation Reserve near Ararat.
The reserve was facing a plethora of infrastructure issues, but through Squadron Energy’s help, the reserve’s committee were able to install updated, water-saving toilets, pipework improvements, modern lightning and new picnic tables.
